deploys electric motorbikes

Following two years of development, Nigerian mobility company, MAX has launched its electric motorcycles for the Nigerian market. The MAXe M3 emerges as Africa’s most technologically advanced Commercial 2-wheeled Carrier.

Tayo Bamiduro, MAX’s CEO and co-founder said: “What we’ve done is provide Nigerians with access to safe, sustainable, affordable and clean-energy mobility and the demand for this has been overwhelming. Take the impact from up to 12 million combustion engine motorcycles in Nigeria for example, this presents a huge challenge alongside the safety and pollution issues and we are actively plugging this gap.”

Founded in 2015, Metro Africa Express (MAX) is the pioneer of bike hailing in Nigeria. It started out as a motorcycle-based logistics service before adding passenger transportation in 2017. Since then, it gained traction in Lagos and has expanded to a few other cities across the country.
